God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ... And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Christians at Comic-Con

Zondervan and The Christian Comic Arts Society are setting up a floor booth at Comic-Con International in San Diego, as well as have a panel and a fellowship mixer. The purpose is to bring the message of Christ to pop-culture fans.

There will be an opportunity to engage people one-on-one and stage events.

"We really look at the conference as an outreach," said CCAS board member Scott Shuford. "We know that most of the people that attend Comic-Con are not churchgoers. There's a big chunk of that population that has had a negative experience with the church. There's another part of the [Comic-Con] population that has had no experience with the church, and there's a smaller part of that population that attends church, but didn't know there were any Christian-related things in the comic world."

Also to be presented by CCAS and Zondervan will be a graphic novel of The Book of Revelation, which is No. 1 in Religious Arts and Photography on the Amazon Best Sellers list.

Another graphic novel will be presented named "Last Adam: Firstborn," which is the first in the series. It deals with the birth of Jesus and the saga surrounding the event.
