God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ... And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Ethanol Transports Resisted by Town

People from the towns of Revere, Chelsea and East Boston, along with activists, showed up at a hearing recently to protest the transportation of dangerous and highly combustible ethanol through significantly populated areas.

The state Department of Environmental Protection will soon conduct a hearing on the matter.

Global Oil is attempting to get approval for transporting a lot of ethanol to its fuel terminal on the line between East Boston and Revere.

Transportation of the dangerous liquid would be conducted on the commuter rail tracks which would travel through these suburbs into Boston. From there it would push through Chelsea and into the company's storage facility located on the Revere/Eastie line.

While ethanol transportation is done on a daily basis around the country, the vast majority of transporting the volatile fuel is done through rural areas.

Global oil would transport ethanol through about 25 cities. It's easy to see that sooner or later there is bound to be the high possibility of loss of life through an inevitable accident.

This is another reason the misguided obsession by the government to force ethanol fuel on the nation needs to be abandoned.

Monsanto (MON) Corn Banned by France

After the regulatory arm of the European Union, the European Commission, told France it wasn't going to take any action against Monsanto (MON)'s MON810 (a genetically modified corn) in the near term, France took it upon itself to place a temporary ban on the corn until "guidance" is provided by EU regulators.

As of March 18, the ban will be put in place by the French government.

The French Agriculture Ministry said this:

“Because of the proximity of the planting period, the Agriculture Ministry has decided today to take a precautionary measure that means to temporarily prohibit the cultivation of the corn MON810 on the national territory in order to protect the environment.”

Alleged and highly suspect "recent scientific studies" have said this particular corn variety includes “important risks” to the environment.

After talking with the European Food Safety Authority, the European Commission told the French they wouldn't be taking any measures before the upcoming opinion, prompting France to take the dubious step of banning the corn variety.

France of course has seemingly always protected its agriculture because it can't compete head to head against farmers from around the world.

This is likely another attempt to keep competitors out of the French market, probably providing protection for seed companies residing in the country, which is the larger corn producer in Europe.

According to Monsanto spokesman John Combest, “The new ban is not justified by scientific evidence.”

Jim Rogers on Future of Agriculture and Farming

Billionaire investor and commodity expert Jim Rogers says the smart person will go into agriculture in the years ahead, as there is no turning back population growth, and the number of farmers around the world is declining.

Of course when Rogers speaks of going into agriculture, he's not just talking about learning how to drive a tractor (although he includes that), what he's talking about is investing in agriculture in a variety of ways.

If you have the money, a great investment would be to acquire a farming operation and retain the farmer or farmers running it. You of course have to be sure of the qualifications, records and integrity of the farmer, but assuming due diligence, it will be a great investment over time.

Other areas to look to invest include those supplying fertilizers and machinery to farmers; companies like Potash, Mosaic, and Deere, among many others.

Rogers asserts one of the best ways to make money over the next couple of decades will be through investing in agriculture in some way.

In the recent past he has said he is invested in all the agricultural future to one degree or another.

As for gold, Rogers sees prices being under pressure in the short term, but over the long haul sees it running up past $2,000 an ounce.

Rogers has said he isn't selling any gold, and if it falls below $1,600 and ounce or further, he'll be a significant buyer of gold again.

China Slowdown Pressuring Gold, Commodity Prices

With a strong possibility there may be a slowdown in economic growth in China, prices for gold and other commodities have been under pressure because of slowing demand.

In the FOMC meeting today, there was no signal one way or the other that there will be another round of quantitative easing, also pressuring gold prices, which were down to $1,686.30 an ounce, falling $13.50.

Even with unsubstantiated concerns over the Chinese economy, silver, copper and oil prices all rose on Tuesday.

Some market analysts are considering no news is good news from the FOMC, as they are taking it, or at least, spinning it that the U.S. economy is on its way to recovery.

It's not of course, but the media is so in bed with Obama it's hard to get reliable and honest economic data and analysis at this time.

Much of the recent concerns over China came from the release of data showing China now has the largest trade deficit in a minimum of 22 years.

Retail sales were also down for January and February 2012, and factory production gained the least since 2009. All below analysts' expectations.

The jury is still out on the Chinese economy, and the American economy continues to struggle, and the economic data, at best, is dubious, as enormous debt, uncontrolled government spending, and fudged unemployment numbers are being spun to make it look like we're on the way to recovery, when the economy continues to be in shambles.

Gold prices will continue their upwards run for some time, although we'll continue to see these price fluctuations as it rises.

Jesus and the Lily of the Valley

Writing about the actual flower Lily of the Valley in a different article and on a different platform, as I considered the attributes of the lily of the valley flower, it gave a wonderful look at Jesus and his bride.

Most of us know the phrase 'lily of the valleys' from its mention in Song of Solomon 2:1,2 (NAS), where it says this:

1 I am a rose of Sharon, A lily of the valleys.

2 As a lily among thorns, So is my love among the daughters.

There the lily of the valleys, which in the plural, refers to the woman in the allegory of the love between Jesus Christ and his bride.

I mention that so there is no confusion that I'm referring to the flower, which of course has a touch of Jesus in it because all of creation has something that was based upon Christ in it when it came forth.

The lily of the valley plant is one that is very robust, and is among the first flowers to emerge in the spring time. After a period of dormancy, they spring forth to reveal themselves; an obvious look into the Lord, who after we go through dry or difficult times, will bring the new growth of spring into our lives through and in Him.

Lily of the valley also prefer partially shady area to thrive in, which of course includes some moisture as their preferred habitat. The shade speaks to me of Christ looking for a place to rest on this earth; a people that want and desire Him to be with them.

The desire for moisture points to a people who are dead to themselves but alive unto God, as the place where Jesus Christ prefers to put down roots. Water symbolizes death in the scriptures, and in the case of the lily of the valley, it won't do well if it lies in puddles of water, rather prefers a slight moisture. That means we aren't to remain dead, but to receive His resurrection life in us that we that were once dead, are now made alive in Him.

It also means we must take up our cross daily and follow Him, symbolized by the consistent need of moisture by the plant and the type of ground that produces the most fruit unto Him.

Another amazing part of the lily of the valley is that which none of us see, as it resides under the ground. These are called rhizome, which could be described as stems that grow underground.

Their amazing amount of interconnection allows them to thrive and expand without anyone observing them knowing how it is happening.

To me that interconnection refers to fellowship in the Lord together. That fellowship, when based solely on Christ, can reproduce itself as the Spirt of God wishes. This means first in quality, but also includes quantity as well.

Finally, the lily of the valley is a poisonous plant. You can't naturally eat of this plant without it causing some awful symptoms.

The world, in any of its manifestations, including religious ones, cannot eat of this plant or enter into it in any way. It's the interconnections hidden under the soil which allow you into this flower family, none other.

Real, organic, Christ-initiated and Christ-centered fellowship is what drives the growth of the lily of the valley. And neither the world or the religious system can partake of it without bearing the effects of the poison.

In other words, this plant and grouping of plants protects itself from those outside of itself who try to eat of only what they outwardly see, and not the hidden place under the ground where natural eyes can't observe.

It can only be partaken of by revelation of and faith in Jesus Christ, which Christ being the chief lily which interconnects all the roots where only spiritual eyes can see and understand, and thus partake in.

Dutch Euthanasia Practices Under Fire

The Netherlands and many of its clueless citizens have responded viciously to the exposure of the murderous practice of euthanasia by presidential candidate in the U.S., Rick Santorum, who claims a significant portion of the killings are done without the permission of the victims.

Euthanasia Prevention has said this in the past over the subject:
"In 30 years Holland has moved from assisted suicide to euthanasia, from euthanasia of people who are terminally ill to euthanasia of those who are chronically ill, from euthanasia for physical illness to euthanasia for mental illness, from euthanasia for mental illness to euthanasia for psychological distress or mental suffering, and from voluntary euthanasia to involuntary euthanasia or as the Dutch prefer to call it "termination of the patient without explicit request."

Canadian professor of law and medicine at McGill University, Margaret Somerville, said in the same article, "...strict guidelines or no, legalized euthanasia has less to do with 'unbearable suffering' than with institutionalizing murder in the medical profession."

While Santorum appears to have overstated the percentage of Dutch killed without giving permission, it still appears from 20 percent to 25 percent are murdered by the process in the country. Santorum asserted it was half of those euthanized. Either way, it's still murder and barbaric.

To show how people become the sheep of the ungodly merger of media and government, those in the Netherlands now believe the chronically ill are victims of discrimination if they are denied the "services" of assisted death.

The country now employs mobile euthanasia units to travel about the country and kill those that some doctors, because they oppose the practice, refuse to do.

What could go wrong with this free service?

According to the Remmelink Report, released in 1991, many patients who were considered competent had their lives taken without being consulted.

Of the doctors performing euthanasia on people, about 40 percnet didn't keep written record, and less than 30 percent filled out death certificates honestly.

Welcome to the future reality of Obamacare, if it's allowed to remain in place. A number of those euthanized in Holland were killed from the withholding of treatment, just like is outlined and recommended with Obamacare, where death panels will decide whether or not someone is worth or qualified for ongoing or further treatment.

Kirk Cameron Boldly Schools Piers Morgan on Homosexual Sin

Actor Kirk Cameron boldly and truthfully schooled Piers Morgan and his viewers on the sin of homosexuality and the attempt to redefine marriage by practioners and advocates of the destructive lifestyle.

Responding to a question on homosexuals marrying, Cameron said, "Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the Garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage. And I don't think anyone else should either."

"So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don't."

The perverse organization GLAAD responded by lying with this assertion from Herndon Graddick, Senior Director of Programs, "Cameron is out of step with a growing majority of Americans … with an increasing number of states recognizing marriage equality, Americans are seeing that marriage is about committed couples who want to make a lifelong promise to take care of and be responsible for each other and that gay and lesbian couples need equal security and legal protections. That's not 'redefining' anything."

The lie is that there is a "growing majority of Americans" that support so-called "marriage equality." That's an outright lie. The vast majority of Americans oppose homosexuality and homosexual marriage. That's the facts in the matter.

As for the alleged idea that states are supporting homosexuals getting married, that's not true either. Even California residents opposed homosexual marriage, as well as people from Iowa, but activist judges their forced it on the people, not the states or the voters.

Cameron accurately identified homosexuality as "destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization."
