God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ... And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Death to Self

Nothing is more important and vital to the Christian walk than death to self, and yet few people really search the Lord out for this valuable experience, which can only happen over a period of years ... and with much pain and suffering.

As Madame Jeanne Guyon said:

It is only by a total death to self that we can experience the state of Divine union, and be lost in God.
The scriptures also teach "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." Matthew 10:39

We must go beyond the objective and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, whereby we were buried with Him in death. That must be then embraced in a subjective way, having it worked our practically in our walk with the Lord.

The end of all of this, as in the eternal purpose of God, is that He may be all in all. That requires a deep and devastating work of the cross on our self. We must lose our lives in order to find Him deep within our spirit, where He dwells.

If not, we will live an endless life of frustration and ineffectiveness, or even deception, whereby we believe we're living for God, when in fact we're living from ourselves.

This requires experience, which results in the ability to discern what is of God and what is not of God.

The more you pursue Christ in order to get close to Him, the more of your self you'll have dealt with, as the closer you get to the center of your spirit where Christ dwells, the less of your self can survive.

Remember, the end of the purpose of God is to be all in all. That leaves none of self left.

That doesn't mean we lose our personhood, as in our patience we retain our souls. What it means is we lose our self. Our self lives and being a person are two different things.

The bottom line is we're to be alive unto God in Christ. We no longer live, but Christ lives in us.

A Worshipful Life in Christ

What Jesus brought in through the cross is extraordinary in its discontinuity with the past, the old creation, and the outwardly religious world, forever.

Remember this scripture?

"Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father... But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:20,21,23,24).

I like how Jeanne Guyon expresses it:

Man erects his inward temple with much industry and care; and he is obliged to do it with such materials as he has. All this structure and superstructure is a new-modelling and building up of the old Adam. But all of this is removed and destroyed when God comes into the soul, and build a new and Divine temple not made with hands, and of materials which endure for ever.

It must be understood when Guyon said what she did above, it was in reference to those with true hearts for the Lord Jesus Christ. She assumes the desire and willingness for this to be done inwardly by those she describes.

And T. Austin-Sparks:

The beginning of everything is worship, in relation to God. That is, God having the central and supreme place of recognition, acknowledgment, of government. In our complete obedience, surrender, in every part and phase of our being, God having supreme right. Worship begins there. It is a relationship, not only an exercise. It is not something that we do in specified ways and methods. It is some attitude of the life, some place which God has in the entire consciousness. That is worship.

These comments were the result of great revelation and suffering for the sake of that which was eternal in Christ Jesus by those above, and of course, Christ Himself.

It is such a controversy because it's the core of our faith in Christ, and will be attacked the most by our spiritual enemy because of it.

To see only Christ and live a life from, for, through and in Him, is the essence of the eternal purpose, that ultimately God may be all in all; the goal of that purpose.

Commenting on outward, institutional, formal, religious Christianity, Sparks concluded:

We who are in Christ, in the sight of God, are wearing garments of beauty and glory and holiness. Why, then, perpetuate a system? The Lord Jesus put all that away in His Cross, it is all gone. That is what He means by worshipping in spirit and in truth.

Throughout the centuries, believers such as Guyon, Sparks, and a relatively small handful of others, have seen the magnificent revelation of Jesus Christ, and all other things not only pale in light of His person, but everything used as a continuation of types and shadows is rejected and battled against by them.

Everything is cast aside other than Christ. That is what is meant by the type of worshippers God seeks. That is the living water coming forth from our innermost being. That is where our focus must be: Christ in us.

Jim Rogers on Commodity Sell Off

In a recent interview with CNBC, billionaire investor and commodity expert Jim Rogers said the recent plunge in commodities has very little to do with fundamentals, but is rather a response to the fall of MF Global, a huge commodities company.

Roger said, “With MF Global going bankrupt – which was a gigantic commodities firm – there was a lot of artificial forced liquidation of commodities. People have to sell whether they like it or not. It’s artificial selling right now.”

Hit particularly hard in the commodity sector has been agriculture, with rice futures plunging over 14 percent, and wheat futures dropping about 9 percent.

Rogers reiterated his way of thinking concerning owning commodities, “I’m long commodities and currencies, because if the world gets better, the shortages in commodities will make sure I make money; if the world economy doesn’t get better, I’d rather own commodities because they’re going to print money.”

The "they're" he's talking about above is the Federal Reserve.

Concerning the central bank, Rogers stated, “Throughout history, when things have gone wrong, they print money ... when they print money, you should own silver, you should own rice, you should own real assets.”

Rogers said this is a good time to invest in agriculture, for those products which have recently fell in value.

Commodity prices will remain volatile, according to Rogers, citing the ongoing recession.

Jeanne Guyon on Owing God Everything

Jeanne Guyon always talked of her utter dependence on God, rather than her self, and how she was indebted to God for all things.

Consequently, Guyon considered it a pleasure to endure the trials the Lord sent here way, preferring to endure them than for a moment be dependent upon herself.

Guyon said:

It is my pleasure, my happiness, to be indebted to God for everything. In this state of mind, I cannot fail to be content in the trials which He sees fit to send upon me. In the spirit of acquiescence in God's will, I would rather endure them all my life long, than put an end to them in a dependence on myself.
Many times Madame Guyon expresses her willingness and obligation to embrace the trials the Lord sent her way, and in many cases, was concerned when things were going too easy, as it is always easy to based contentment and joy on outward circumstances, rather than inner fellowship with Christ, which wasn't, in her eventual experience, dependent on what was going on the outside.

Tea Party Rising Up Against OWS

The socialist, far-left OWS movement, which, like socialism, is centrally planned, and not a spontaneous uprising, like the mainstream media and leftist online outlets attempt to portray it as, is now beginning to get a response from the real grassroots movement in the United States: the Tea Party.

One of the initial responses is from a coalition of Tea Party believers in Philadelphia, which is opposing the evil idea of boycotting retail businesses on Black Friday.

This is a great move, as some are attempting to compare the Tea Party and OWS as movements with similar interests, which couldn't be further from the truth.

There is no contact point between the OWS and the Tea party, as the Tea Party is pro-business, and correctly identifies the source of our economic woes: big government. On the other hand, the clueless OWS points the finger at business and entrepreneurs as being the source of the problem.

This of course underscores the motivation and agenda behind the OWS, which is driven by socialists who correctly understand the threat the Tea Party poses for them.

If there was the understanding and, intellectual integrity on those participating the faux OWS movement, they would be looking towards and lining up with the Tea Partiers against the expansion of big government, and its chief enabler, the Federal Reserve.

Those identifying themselves with the Philadelphia Tea Party, are focusing on educating and communicating to the government the concepts of limited government and free enterprise.

Around the country we need to see a resurgence and second act for the Tea Party, focusing on these very issues, while revealing the misguided attempts of OWS to take the focus off of big government and the failed Obama administration, and placing it on businesses.

"Curiosity" Rover Heading to Mars

(AP Photo/Terry Renna)

The rover "Curiosity," the largest ever sent to Mars, took off on its 354 million-mile journey on Saturday, which will last over a period of approximately 8 1/2 months, if all goes well.

Specs of Curiosity are 10 feet long, 9 feet wide, and 7 feet tall. It weighs in at about 1 ton, and is nuclear-powered.

Curiosity's mission is to search out whether or not the planet neighbor may be able to support life, or if microbial life existed at one time in the past.

Measurements planned include the amount of radiation on the planet, as well as climate readings such as humidity, wind and temperature. That will come from a weather station embedded in the rover.

According to NASA, assuming everything goes close to as planned, the rover will travel at least 12 miles on the surface of the planet. It will be fueled by 10.6 pounds of radioactive plutonium.

To drill into the red rock on the planet's surface, there is a 7-foot arm which includes a jackhammer at the end of the drill.

The projected date of arrival for Curiosity on Mars is sometime in August 2012.

Two other missions are currently under way by NASA, with Grail heading for the moon of Earth, and the Juno probe on its way to Jupiter.

While it's interesting to see this mission, it shouldn't be underwritten by the government, as it's not part of God's purpose. Rather it should be financed by private parties, which will no doubt be the future of space exploration.

As for life on other planets, I don't see that as being a reality, in the sense of intelligent life. But I do see the potential of microbial life, as Jesus Christ, who has created all things, is life Himself, and it wouldn't be surprising at all to see building blocks of life on planets other than Earth.

Madame Guyon: Break Me Lord!

Madame Jeanne Guyon took what she lived and believed seriously, and concerning the work of the cross in her life, was very proactive and cooperative with the Spirit of God within her, concerning being smitten by Him in reference to anything and everything within her that may be in opposition to Him.

She said:

O Holy Spirit, a Spirit of love! let me ever by subjected to thy will; and as a leaf is moved before the wind, so let my soul be influenced and moved by the breath of thy wisdom. And as the impetuous wind breaks down all that resists it, even the towering cedars which stand in opposition; so may the Holy ghost, operating within me, smite and break down everything which opposes Him.

What's also important about this, was even though Guyon had been walking closely with the Lord for years, as far as lining up her soul with the person and will of Christ, she knew there could easily be something within her she missed, thus the prayer that if there was anything she wasn't aware of, that the Holy Spirit would battle against it for the glory of Jesus Christ.

It's one thing to say this, it's another thing to mean it. If Jeanne Guyon's life meant anything on this earth, it was that she definitely embraced the work of the cross in her soul and self.

Madame Jeanne Guyon: Loving Christ's Will

As Jeanne Guyon matured in her inner walk with Jesus Christ, she increasingly talked of loving the will of the Lord, no matter what it brought her.

Even though the imprisonment of Guyon has brought sympathy from those writing about and knowledgeable about the difficulties she faced, in general, she would have not of that, as far as attempting to escape, or even wanting to escape her circumstances. After all, she could have, if she had recanted her beliefs, which contrary to some writers' assertions, she never did.

Concerning imprisonment, Guyon said this:

I have no desire that my imprisonment should end before the right time. I love my chains. Everything is equal to me, as I have no will of my own, but purely the love and will of Him who possesses me.

What is important to note about Guyon and the work Christ had performed in her was this: she could have just as easily said the same words about a circumstance that was much more favorable to the human disposition.

When she said everything was "equal" to her, she simply meant that it didn't matter what situations she found herself in, as long as it was the will of God that she was there.

Guyon also and always, acknowledged that it was Christ Himself that did this work in her, and nothing of her own that brought this attitude and outlook about, other than cooperating with the Lord from His strength, to be content in whatever it was life brought her.

Madame Jeanne Guyon: Deep Peace

One of the experiences of Madame Guyon in her inner relationship with Jesus Christ was that of being extraordinarily peaceful within, even while the storms of life raged without.

Not only that, but within she could be full of peace, while at the same time, outwardly, i.e. her mind and emotions, could be troubled.

Guyon said:

I had a deep peace which seemed to pervade the whole soul, and resulted from the fact, that all my desires were fulfilled in God. I feared nothing; that is, considered in its ultimate results and relations, because my strong faith placed God at the head of all perplexities and events.
So when Guyon says she feared nothing, she's separating fear related to ultimate results, and those temporal circumstances with can incite fear in a person, and evidently did in Guyon.

Her comments here seem to point to being surprised and unsure of temporary, unforeseen events, even though within she is at peace concerning whatever would emerge from her circumstances. This is important because it can sometimes be misconstrued concerning Guyon that she was saying she had overcome all fear, which from what she says above ... she hadn't.

So while perplexed and concerned over immediate situations she faced, in the long term she was very much as peace.

Throughout her writings, Guyon distinguishes between the peace she had attained in all circumstances within, but still had perplexities arising in her outward man; referring to short-term involuntary thoughts and emotions coming from various events acting upon her.

In other words, it appears Guyon was very peaceful within, but face temporary fear in outward man.

Madame Jeanne Guyon: Quiet Endurance

Concerning enduring everything as from the hand of God, Madame Jeanne Guyon didn't simply talk the talk, but she walked the walk.

Guyon considered everything as coming from God, even if His tool of use was the devil, enemies, circumstances, or even friends.

She stated:

In the exercise of faith and love, I endured and performed whatever came in God's providence, in submission, in thankfulness, and silence. I was now in God and God in me; and where God is, there is as much simplicity as power. And what I did was done in such simplicity and childlikeness of spirit, that the world did not observe anything which was much calculated to attract notice.
Guyon was a masterful wordsmith, and in very short sentences and/or paragraphs, could say as much as many attempt in an entire book, as evidenced above.

But it's the content of her words that matter, and they're based upon that which came from the inner fellowship and work of Jesus Christ within her.

Bizzarely, but not surprisingly, some are attempting to portray Guyon as some type of feminist, something that her life and works, including her comments above, completely condemn and reject.

To paint Guyon as a feminist is a rejection of her entire life, which as mentioned in the quote above, accepted all things as from the hand of God, and wouldn't even think of some type of wicked self-assertion, which is the overall impetus of feminists. The majority of real Christian women reject the movement, which opposes Jesus Christ, having done more harm to families, relationships and bringing children to birth, than any other group of people in the world.

The life of Jeanne Guyon, and her massive amount of writings, totally reject this outrageous claim, and for those who have read the majority of her works, like me, understand the lie that it represents.

Look at her words above. Faith, love, endurance, providence, submission, thankfulness, silence, simplicity and not attracting attention. All of these of course are the opposite of the obsession with self represented by feminists.

Jeanne Guyon on Owing God Everything

Madame Jeanne Guyon on Overcoming World

Madame Jeanne Guyon was, if nothing, a warrior against the world, especially and first, as it pertained to her walk with Jesus Christ, and secondly, in helping those under her influence to attain the same results.

Guyon said:

When the world saw that I had quitted it, it persecuted me, and turned me into ridicule. I became the subject of its conversation, fabulous stories, and amusement. Given up to its irreligion and pleasures, it could not bear that a woman, little more than 20 years of age, should thus make war against it, and overcome it.

What's interesting about Guyon's comment, is not only the content itself, which is admirable, but also the way she viewed and communicated concerning this particular issue; something she wouldn't have done later in her walk with the Lord.

While it's obvious for those that know and have studied and read Guyon, that she wouldn't have spoken this way outside of the work of Christ in her life, you can still tell she was naive at this point as to her communications on the subject.

Later, when she found out her writings were taken out of context, and part of that from the uproar over Molinos, she was much more careful in writing her outlook on various spiritual matters, especially in her "Justifications," where she commented on Molinos and the resultant need to communicate much more clearly and carefully on the inner walk with Christ. Much of what she said, even to our modern day, is still taken out of context, or simply not understood; although that hasn't stopped those reading her works from criticizing them.

It is a bold and amazing statement by Guyon in her battle against the world, specifically at the young age she was at. There is no doubt in her mind, and probably, her experience, that her assertion was not just what she hoped, but the reality she was living.

That's not to say she didn't have more of her self that needed to be crucified, as she had testified to that for many years throughout her writings. But as to her attitude and interaction with the world, there is no doubt what she stated was in fact the truth.

Of course, as she found out not too long afterwards, the religious world was just as good as persecuting her as the world itself, as she challenged the superficial and outward elements of that world, generating enormous persecution and hatred against her.

In that she also stood strong in the Lord, even though she retained a respectful and humble attitude towards those attacking her love of the Lord Jesus Christ within her, and spreading that message of a deep inner walk in the Lord around France, and to a smaller degree, Italy, when he was alive.

That message has continued to echo through the centuries since she died, being the major choice of Christians seeking someone that has walked that walk, and not just read or talked about it, as her writings have confirmed.

All of us need to embrace the attitude of Jeanne Guyon toward the world, recognizing it's the Lord within us alone that can give us the strength to overcome it.

As James 4:4-5 says, "You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us?"

We must cry out to the Lord to help us to be in the world but not of the world, asking that He will aid us in pursuing the Spirit of God within us, who continues to call us from an outer life to an inward one.

Jeanne Guyon on God Only Being Good

Having a profound experience of Christ and the gifting to communicate it, Jeanne Guyon had to battle the problem of those she helped beginning to think there was something unique in her outside of Christ.

She said:

If any persons think there is any good in me, separate from God, they are mistaken; and, by indulging in any such thoughts, they do injury to the Lord whom I love. All good is in Him, and for Him. The greatest satisfaction I can have is the knowledge, that He is what He is; and that, being what He is, He never will or can be otherwise.

If I am saved at last, it will be the free gift of God; since I have no worth and no merit of my own. And in the deep sense that I am nothing of myself, I am often astonished that any persons should place confidence in me. I have often made this remark.

All Jeanne Guyon wanted to do was to experience the gift of Christ deep in her being. Secondarily, after being told to do it by the Lord, she then wanted to pass that desire on to others.

It was horrifying to her that any type of confidence or faith in her person would be placed in her by another human being.

She saw two major elements concerning Christianity: Knowing Christ deep within, and helping others to attain that experiencially.

After all, she had no confidence in the flesh concerning her self, and wouldn't think of someone else placing faith in her either.

The point is, what she experienced, she rightly believed was for everyone who trusted in Jesus Christ. She was right.

Climategate 2.0: EMails Reveal IPCC Corruption

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is under fire again, as not unexpectedly, a new batch of e-mails, already being dubbed Climategate 2.0, underscore the outrageous corruption of the agency, which is no longer even trying to operate as scientists, but rather whores for those who have enormous interests in the perpetuation of the global warming, climate change hoax.

Of the approximate 5,000 emails released to the public by an anonymous source, so far it confirms levels of corruption among those so-called scientists exploring what is nothing more than a political cause that can no longer be identified as science.

Among the released emails, it is specifically confirmed that global warming or climate change is no longer considered a scientific inquiry, but, as mentioned, a political cause.

The emails also say the scientists involved are attempting to hide data and results, rather than release them in a timely manner to the public.

Also per the communications between these "scientists" is the admission the alleged science behind the global warming hoax is extremely weak, and reliant upon planned manipulation of the data and facts.

Some emails released:

“Mike, The Figure you sent is very deceptive … there have been a number of dishonest presentations of model results by individual authors and by IPCC,” wrote Tom Wigley, who has been under fire for an email in Climategate 1.0, where he said the official Climategate scientists "must get rid of" an editor of a peer-reviewed science journal because he didn't agree with the official assertions.

“Observations do not show rising temperatures throughout the tropical troposphere unless you accept one single study and approach and discount a wealth of others. This is just downright dangerous. We need to communicate the uncertainty and be honest. Phil, hopefully we can find time to discuss these further if necessary,” communicated Peter Thorne of the UK Met Office.

“I also think the science is being manipulated to put a political spin on it which for all our sakes might not be too clever in the long run,” Thorne continued.

Incredibly, they have even put forward the idea of generating a message that has no basis in fact which would be then used to guide what is in the released IPCC reports. Jonathan Overpeck, coordinating lead author for the IPCC’s most recent climate assessment, said, “The trick may be to decide on the main message and use that to guid[e] what’s included and what is left out” of IPCC reports.

Penn State University scientist Michael Mann, has been attempting to recruit an investigative reporter to "investigate and expose” scientist Steve McIntyre, who is skeptical of the global warming theory.

What these emails have already proved, is there is absolutely no basis for global warming or climate change, as it is completely driven be those with political agendas, rather than any basis in reality.

The so-called scientists of the IPCC, and those attempting to make names for themselves by associating themselves with them, are confirmed to be corrupt and liars.

There is no man-made global warming, and climate change is the normal process of weather patterns since the creation of the universe by Jesus Christ.

No more proof is needed to confirm global warming is a hoax, and there is no science behind the politically-driven agenda.

Tea Party and Economics

Whenever a grass roots movement starts to take shape, there are always vultures on the opposite end of the spectrum ready to swoop in and influence, and wishfully, co-opt the movement, or at least generate enough confusion so it takes its focus off the issues and begins to fragment.

The Tea Party faces that in the area of economics, as they understand the dangers of big government, the Federal Reserve and giant banks, but they don't understand the why of it.

It's really quite simple. The advocates of big government interfering in the lives of its citizens by offering them goodies in the form of womb to tomb benefits, are empowered by the Federal Reserve (or a central bank in any country), which prints or digitizes money out of thin air, allowing, temporarily, the illusion it is a sustainable strategy.

Of course the problem is there's a huge cost to all of this, which is the debasing, or weakening of the buying power of the dollar. Since the founding of the Federal Reserve, the U.S. dollar has lost 95 percent of its value, and that's in less than 100 years.

What has also happened, is cushy government jobs are offered which pay far above market wages, which those who are the real producers, the private sector, must pay for through enormous taxes.

The ambitious but unsustainable promises of politicians has brought us to the place where we can no longer support their irresponsible behavior in order to get elected, under the guise of offering a safety net for the disadvantaged.

To simplify matters, those in the Tea Party, as well as anyone with an interest in fiscal responsibility, must oppose the growth of government, as well as the continuance of the Federal Reserve, which is the empowerer of all of those who have attempted to turn the government into a god.

The solution isn't that difficult. You cut back on the size of government by slashing the outrageous spending, cut taxes, and get out of the way of creative entrepreneurs, who are behind what has made America the economic power it has become.

Behemoth government now sucks the breath out of the economy by pillaging businesses and the productive with ever-increasing taxes and regulations which are destroying the country before our eyes.

It is a horrible and destructive idea to promote the idea of so-called shovel-ready jobs, as they're a form of entitlement, which only adds to the economic challenge we face, as it makes government even larger, the private sector smaller, and the debt we bear worse than it already is.

In other words, the Federal Reserve can just print out the money and we have the finances to support the jobs. At least that's what the faulty strategy is, and one that has failed to work after over $1 trillion has already been thrown at the economy with no effect but to make the national deficit even bigger.

The Tea Party must understand that the Federal Reserve is the enabler, and the government is the addict. We must work to rid ourselves of the central bank, as well as radically slash the budget of the United States. That's the only starting place to begin, and the only focus, as far as economics goes, we need to zero in on. From there the rest will take care of itself as we suck the oxygen out of this monstrous government spending and debt.

There is no other recourse. The handwriting is on the wall. There is no other solution. It can be done in a controlled manner, or it can be done through neglecting to deal with the problem by kicking the can down the road. Either way, the problem will only be resolved by taking some pain by Americans.

Don't get sidetracked by all the secondary issues, as they're endless and take our eyes off of the foundational solution, which is limited government and the shutting down of the out of control Federal Reserve.

Government is "Not" God

It is horrific to see so many people embrace government as some type of benevolent, omnipotent savior and provider for mankind, rather than the only God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Huge numbers of Christians have jumped on this unholy and ungodly bandwagon, in hope of getting their share of the loot from taxpayers and future generations.

The consequences of this evil will come back to haunt, not only America, but nations around the world, as evidenced by the crumbling of the European Union. That's just the beginning of sorrows for those who, in the end, are worshipping the state rather than God almighty, who allows for no competitors.

I've seen a number of "Christian" writers whine about the fact there may be cuts in some of their favorite, special interest programs, which of course benefit their so-called ministry.

The people of Jesus Christ have no business partnering with the government in the name of ministry on behalf of Jesus Christ. God does not allow for the glory to be given to any other, and the idea of Christians entering into these agreements so they can get crumbs from a false master's table is outrageous. Jesus Christ will answer this, and it won't be pretty before He's through with his judgement on the matter. It has already begun.

If you're Biblically literate at all, you should know that one of the major things Christ opposes is mixture. Mixing government and Christianity isn't allowable in any way, shape or form by God.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the idea of separation of Church and state, which doesn't exist in the constitution. I'm not talking about institutions being affected and permeated with the characteristics of Christ as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. I'm talking about Christians putting their faith in any government, anywhere in the world.

Men of God of old in the Scriptures taught us to not trust in horses and chariots, but in the name of our God ... no one or nothing else.

As for lessons from history, it has been proven over and over again that governments collapse when they overreach, and that is about to happen again in one of the worst economic events in history. I say that because of the interconnectivity of the global economy. Nations have become a set of dominoes, which when one topples the rest are drastically effected.

Is this inevitable. Yes! There are few politicians, commentators and media outlets willing to do and report on what must be done to right the situation. Those who are making attempts are viciously attacked and marginalized by the media, as they have largely become cheerleaders for the emerging socialist state, which will ultimately collapse under the weight of its heinous lies and promises that they are able to have a security blanket over the population from cradle to grave.

As we're seeing before our eyes, this is obviously unsustainable, even as protesters whine for even more and larger government. Don't be one of them.

If you're a Christian reading this, you need to repent and turn back and put your faith in Jesus Christ as your provider. Repentance is the starting point for individual and corporate change, and until that happens, you won't understand or be prepared for what's ahead.

Many Christian preachers are attempting to position God as the deliverer who is able to rise above any circumstance. And He is surely all of that, and more than able to. The problem is that only works for a people whose hearts are aligned with His interests and who have placed their faith in Christ and Christ alone.

To preach deliverance when their isn't repentance is an outright lie and misrepresentation of Christ. Read the prophets in the Old Testament to see if that is true. The New Testament confirms this as well, as the first words out of the mouth of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ were that those hearing their words were to repent for the Kingdom of God had arrived. Jesus is that kingdom.

Another thing to consider is most of the problems we face, are in fact the result of governments interfering in the lives of people. Yet, most continue to believe somehow this is best for them, as long as they get their false security from them. You still want to go back to Egypt for garlic and leeks? You'll find yourself in slavery to the very ones you give you the crumbs off their tables. Christians are called to something far greater than that in Christ.

Finally, we need to become staunch opponents of the Federal Reserve, which is the enabler of the out of control spending and promises made by the U.S. government. Any country with a central bank faces the same challenges and problems. We need to work toward and pray for the Federal Reserve to be abolished and government to be regulated to the protective role Christ allows them to operate in, as well as the legal function. Outside of that, government has no business extending itself beyond that very limited purpose.

For Christians, there needs to be a widespread repentance of our putting faith in government rather than Jesus Christ, and we need to place our faith wholly and only in Christ as our resource for all things.

After all, the scriptures teach us that He shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory - (Philippians 4:19). We need to start embracing that as the truth.

Bernanke More Reckless Than Greenspan Says Schiff

In a recent interview on Breakout, Peter Schiff said Ben Bernanke has been more reckless than even Alan Greenspan in his role at the Federal Reserve.

Schiff said, "The whole financial crisis of 2008 has its roots in the cheap monetary policy of Alan Greenspan. We have to ask ourselves 'what is the looming crisis that awaits as a consequence of the cheap money policy of Ben Bernanke, because he's being even more reckless than Alan Greenspan?'"

The Federal Reserve is facing the most criticism it has in history, along with unwanted scrutiny, as it is increasingly being identified by the public as the major problem behind, not only the current recession, but for numerous recessions throughout the decades, based upon its loose money policies.

It has also wrongly encourage politicians to make promises that they cannot keep, as the out of control spending is no longer sustainable or affordable, and only the endless printing of money by the Federal Reserve has allowed it to continue on.

We need to end the Fed and embrace the concept of competitive currencies.

Michele Bachmann Educates 'Occupy Wall Street'

Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann attempted to educate so-called 'Occupy Wall Street' protesters, saying they need to point the blame at politicians where it belongs and not at the free market.

Bachmann stated: "For your sake and for your future, America - and Occupy Wall Street in particular - needs to wake up and stop blaming the free market, stop blaming capitalism, stop blaming job creators for the failures created by selfish politicians. The problem is politicians who wink at their political donors and through the force of law put their competitors out of business."

Bachmann also rightly called for all Americans to pay taxes, saying everyone should "be invested in the country." Approximately 46 percent of Americans get by with paying nothing.

There is no doubt the clueless "Occupy Wall Street" people need to do some studying into recent history, as it's the government and the Federal Reserve which has been the culprits and reason behind the economic challenges we face, not the free market; or at least what's left of it.

What should be being protested is big government, progressives (socialists), and out of control spending. They are the ones causing the unsustainable spending that is causing the pain the country is going through. Entitlement programs are by far the biggest costs in the country, with military spending coming next.

The fact that those in the protests not even being able to connect the dots to the government speaks to the mentality being employed by those taking time to even think through what it is they're exactly doing.

One good point is much of this is a contrived protest, as in some cases homeless people are even being paid to show up as protesters to give the alleged movement the appearance of larger numbers than are in fact really there to protest.

Too bad it appears the "professionals" have now taken over the people doing the protesting. It they hadn't, there could be some room for the Tea Party crowd and Occupy Wall Streeters to find some common ground; especially with the bail out of the giant bank by taxpayers, which most opposed.

But since it's being driven by those with socialist leanings, that has now gone by the wayside as a probability.

For Michele Bachmann, it's good to see someone stick to their guns on what they believe, and remain consistent in their core beliefs.

A Life of Repentance

Isaiah 30:14-16 (NAS)

“In repentance and rest you will be saved,
In quietness and trust is your strength.”
But you were not willing,

And you said, “No, for we will flee on horses,”
Therefore you shall flee!

“And we will ride on swift horses,”

Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift.

-----------

Repentance is a vital part of Christianity, and we must take it from the time we make that initial commitment which results in us being made right with God through Christ, to being a way of life.

While most of us know the word repentance means to basically turn around and go the other way, it has a much deeper meaning when we talk about the object of our repentance, which is of course, Christ.

That's what I want to encourage you with today. Repentance is a continual turning to Christ throughout our lifetimes. Not for the purpose necessarily of turning from sin and self (although they are a part of that), but in the end, it's a continual beholding of Christ.

In the verse from Isaiah above, we see four encouragements from the prophet. They are repentance, rest, quietness and trust.

Those who live in a state of repentance or continual turning to the Lord, are admonished to rest, which means ceasing from our own labors. That's ultimately what the spirit of the Sabbath really means.

They there is quietness, which refers to closing out all the stimulants and interference of that which is in the world and anything without, in order to be able to continue to dwell in the presence of Christ.

By anything without, I mean the endless number of distractions we face in our daily lives, which if we allow to overwhelm us, shuts us off from the presence and practical union with the Lord, because we continually dwell on them, rather than resting quietly in Christ.

That can be learned to do while we work, take care of issues, and any other thing that we face in life.

Amazingly, as with Israel at that time, so today, many simply refuse to walk in this way before the Lord.

Only the resources of Christ within us can answer to the difficulties in life we face, and it's the refusing to trust in what the Bible calls horses (and sometimes horse and chariots), which we must embrace.

Our faith and trust must be in the living Christ, not in any external resources we are looking to. That's not to say Jesus doesn't use external things, but only that our trust can't be in that, as it's the Lord who delivers, and none other. He allows no glory to be given to another.

We are to look to the Lord as our resource for all things, and from there He will perform His word and will.

But even taking all that into account, by far the most important thing is to simply and continually look to the Lord in love and fellowship within, and quiet ourselves from the endless storms of life that will swirl around us until we leave this world.

This is the ultimate of repentance is about. Not to simply turn from this world and self, but to turn to continually to someone, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Global Warming "Science" Doesn't Exist

The more and more people check under the hood of the assertions made by so-called scientists concerning not only global warming, but man-caused global warming, the more it is revealed that is is science fiction, rather than anything based upon reality.

The CO2 model used by scientists as a means of predicting global warming is completely false, and has failed miserably as a predictive model.

Whether it is global warming by nature or global warming allegedly caused by people, neither have been relevant for the last 11 years, as it hasn't been taking place during that time.

Global warming, as well as cooling, is simply part of the way Jesus Christ created the earth and nature. There have been ebbs and flows throughout thousands of years, and the idea of CO2 being a model is completely off.

Why does the assertion of man-made global warming continue to be listened to in light of the junk science behind it? It's the old and tired agenda of progressives (socialists) and those wanting to implement one-world governance.

When socialists failed to prove its superiority to capitalism, they've gone off on numerous other journeys and focuses in attempts to implement their ultimate agenda of ruling the world.

Their strategy is to create fear in the general population in order to wear them down so they will allow the enactment of rules and regulations which will ultimately enslave people.

Scientists backing this are those seeking fortune and fame in a place in the new world order.

This is why the data concerning global warming and/or climate change are continually misrepresented or found to be outright forged.

We must be a people of discernment and never take at face value what the world is throwing out there as truth, in the sense of what the data are saying. The elites and arrogant always want to control the actions and parameters of the regular people.

Christians must not be so gullible in embracing these assertions and lies, even it if makes us unpopular, or our reputations take a hit.

After all, Paul admonishes in Philippians to have the same mind in us that Christ had, which in part was to make ourselves of no reputation.

Numerous compromising "Christians" have already embraced the global warming and evolution camps (as two examples), so they don't have to suffer the ridicule, ostracisation and rejection that accompanies holding to Biblical revelation and principles.

The reason why is they want to have, in most cases, a career in their chosen fields. We must repent of this and hold to the truths revealed to us in the Holy Scriptures.

Watchman Nee on Brokenness

Watchman Nee was probably the major vessel used by the Lord to plant Christianity in China.

In his early years he was of great consternation to Margaret (M.E.) Barber, who was concerned he was seeking after far too much head knowledge than experience of the Lord.

According to Nee, Barber was probably the one Christian who gave him the most help.

After some time, and as he matured, Nee's experience caught up with his head knowledge, as he began to be persecuted by institutional Christianity because of his stand on the church.

Most importantly, Nee started to experience more and more the shared sufferings of Christ, and in the area of brokenness he had a lot to say, as these couple of videos confirm.

He spent the last 20 years of his life in prison for his faith in Jesus Christ.

Rand Paul Endorses David Williams for Kentucky Governor

Senator Rand Paul lent a hand to Kentucky Senate President and Republican Gubernatorial Candidate David Williams Friday, who is behind sitting Governor and Obama supporter Steve Beshear.

Paul said, "There isn't a chance in this election to vote for or against the president, but there is a chance to vote against his cheerleaders. So, I'm here today to wholeheartedly endorse the candidacy of David Williams and Richie Farmer."

Farmer is running for Lt. Governor.

Concerning their jobs plan, Williams said, "If this plan is enacted in Kentucky, Kentucky will be the best place in the United States of America to create and retain jobs. That's coming from Art Laffer who has created more jobs by his economic policies in cooperation with Ronald Reagan than anybody before or since."

"We're pro-life, we're pro-second amendment, we're pro-coal, we're pro-jobs, and we're anti-Barack Obama," added Farmer.

They would be an excellent choice for Kentucky, which needs to clean out the Democrat, liberal, socialist apparatus from government.

Jim Rogers: European Crisis will Worsen

While applauding the size of the haircut Greek bondholders are undergoing, billionaire investor Jim Rogers says it's not nearly enough when taking into account all of Europe, which face the same problem.

Rogers said to Investment Week, "Never in a million years did I expect them to impose a haircut of 50 percent, this shows at least somebody is starting to accept reality."

Even so, Rogers rightly concludes politicians have just kicked the can down the road again, saying "Politicians have delayed addressing the problem yet again."

"It will come back in a few weeks or a few months and the world will still have the same problem, but this time only worse because the European Central Bank and other countries will be in deeper in debt."

Rogers calls for haircuts of a similar nature if Europe is to be saved, something that would ultimately result in unrest across the region.

The problem is the socialist promises made by governments that are simply unsustainable, as Europe and the United States are finding out.

What politicians are attempting to do is pass or duck the blame in order to hide the fact that socialism and the attempt at a one-world government doesn't work.

Whether by design or default, the world is quickly going to find out that politicians have been lying for years concerning the promises they made, and that, hopefully, will be a big hit to the socialist and fascist agenda that has permeated the world for decades.

Rogers concluded, "There has been a major overhang, so we will see the easing of some pressure, but the problem will come back because the Western world still has not dealt with its debt."

"Most European countries are increasing their debt rather than decreasing their debt. Until that changes, the problems are going to continue, just as they will in the U.S."

It makes one wonder if there's a connection between that and the NATO-led overthrow of some of the countries in the Middle East recently, meaning an attempt to point the attention of the public in a different direction, while buying time.

Either way, time is running out for the West in regard to its enormous debt load. And unless there are major spending cuts, the weight of the debt will result in economies and the careers of many politicians to come crashing down, and inevitable unrest following.

Quotes from Gene Edwards

Here some quotes from a variety of works by Gene Edwards. Below each quote is the source from which it came.

===============

Paul's letters, when placed together (in proper order) tell The Story, a story which stretches from the year 50 through 67. Blend in Acts with those letters, and now The Story stretches uninterrupted in three dimensions from 30 through 70 ... from Pentecost until the destruction of Jerusalem. This is a revolutionary story, and it hasn't been told in 1800 years.

T. Austin-Sparks Quotes

The quotes of T. Austin-Sparks below are from a variety of articles he wrote throughout his life. The line below each quote is the name of the article it came from.

==============

All that the Lord Jesus taught and did is vindicated by the Holy Spirit inworking into the life of the believer the victory of that resurrection life of the Lord Jesus.

The Abiding Meaning of Pentecost

--------------

The New Testament brings the Lamb of God into view and calls for beholding. That word means more than 'take a look', 'glance your eyes toward Him'. It means, 'fasten your gaze upon Him.'

Beholding

--------------

For us there is but one definite and conclusive explanation of the universe, and that explanation is a Person - the Lord Jesus Christ, with all that is eternally related to Him.

Christ - All, And In All

--------------

Sin is the dethroning of God from His true place: righteousness is the bringing of God back into His place. That is what the cross has done.

The Coming of the Crowning Day

--------------

Nine-tenths of the trouble with both the individual child of God and the fellowship (or arrested fellowship) of the Lord's people is traceable to the workings of the unrenewed mind in which there is carnality still or the mind unguarded becoming the playground of "The prince of the power of the air."

The Cross and the Deliverance of the Mind

--------------

It does not require a great deal of intelligence in order to recognise that, throughout the history of God's work, the master-stroke of the great perverter has been confusion.

The Danger of Coming Short

--------------

The very heart of suffering, the very heart of co-heirship with Christ, is this wonderful sense of inward relationship to the object in view, inward relationship to the inheritance, inward relationship to the result, the reward. And that is the explanation of suffering, of labour, of conflict.

The Eternal Reward of Labour and Suffering

--------------

There are sufferings which are peculiarly and most deeply the lot of those who have paid a great price in their abandonment to a Divinely given vision and purpose. The pain of this kind of trial was, and is, suffered most in secret.

"The Fellowship of His Sufferings"

--------------

The Lord's glory and honour are expressed in perennial youth, but the new generation cannot succeed just because of youth, any more than it can be officially appointed; it must take up the succession in an inward way, and that means by spirituality.

God Needs Gideons

--------------

"...the greatest need of the times is a movement of God to bring His people to know the fullness of Christ!"

The Greatest Need of the Times

--------------

GOD had broken into this world in the Person of His Son, the Lord Jesus. He had intervened in the course of the history of this world with one main intention—to assert the fact of His rights, to bring in His prerogatives in this world; these had been disputed, challenged and refused.

The Heavens Do Rule

--------------

In the New Testament, not only in statements but in many ways, experience has a very high place indeed in the work of God and is of very great importance and value in God's sight. Experience really is the quality or essence of stature, of maturity.

The Importance and Value of Experience

--------------

And when the Lord brought again out of captivity a people, be they but a small people, a despised and weakened people, nevertheless, a people whose heart was set upon His satisfaction, the Lord had something that gave Him joy, and turned His sorrow away.

The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength

--------------

The Lord may know of a day not far away when that will spread and all those things which are the externals of Christianity, upon which Christians depend, will be swept away and no longer available. We’ve had a little touch of it in our lifetime, many Christians have in this very country, and it could be very much more so and very quickly, that crisis may be looming upon the near horizon.

Let Us Go On

--------------

One thing is particularly and jealously guarded by God in the case of the earthly life of the Lord Jesus. It is this, that whatever Christ was it was spiritual; there was nothing from cradle to grave which made Him anything naturally or temporally.

The Meaning of Christ

--------------

The Jews of Paul's day were totally incapable of believing that a man could separate himself from their tradition and, at the same time, be devoted to their wellbeing.

The Need For Positive Ground

--------------

It is a perfectly obvious fact that wherever the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ has been most faithfully preached and presented - while bringing hope and new life to many - it has almost invariably been the cause of trouble.

The Offence of the Cross

--------------

When principles are contravened He cannot stand by the people concerned. Sooner or later it will be manifested that, while the Lord loves the people, He cannot support the wrong principles which are governing their lives.

The Peril of Divided Loyalties

--------------

The heavens do rule now by grace. It is grace that governs the Throne. The power of God in this age is grace. I hope the day never comes when I stand before that Throne and know any other power than grace. The covenant in grace is the covenant in His blood, and we need never know the awfulness of divine power but may know the beauty of divine power - the love of God.

The Rainbow

--------------

What is the mystery of Christ? The mystery of Christ is God veiled in this Representative. Here is God in representation, but how many saw Him? ''He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father.'' But I think that word ''seen'' means something very much more than just looking upon Him as a man. Peter said, ''Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." And He said, ''Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father Who is in heaven'' (Matt 16:13-17). That is what it means to see; it is by revelation. It is that which is the mystery. The fact is there, the true representation or representative of God in person, yet unrecognized, unseen.

Seeing Christ by Revelation

---------------

So remember that, and if sometimes it seems too big for you, just say: That is a very good thing; I would not have it as small as I am; there needs to be something very big to get me anywhere! For the bigger it is, the mightier is the dynamic and the motive for the Christian life.

A Talk to Young Christians on the Nature of the Christian Life

---------------

In the Body of Christ the Holy Spirit is the great nervous system, and only as there is an immediate response to every intimation of the will of the Head, and the life unbrokenly in correspondence with His mind, can there be an expression of the unity of which the New Testament speaks.

The Unity of the Spirit

----------------

"... my disturbing fear is that there will be a movement, or some movements, toward the formation of another undenominational or interdenominational denomination, this coming about also by policy, expediency, or seeming necessity. Such a movement would only be another tragedy and incipient sectarian calamity, which history would show to have been not of God but of man, although with the best of motives. May the Lord save from this so serious mistake!

"A Very Deep Concern..."

-----------------

We must remember that the Holy Spirit can never have free course in us and through us if we harbour unloving thoughts concerning other of God's children, let alone put those thoughts into actions. He is the Spirit of fellowship, so that if we fail in that realm then we fail in the matter of love.

The Well Within

-----------------

When Jesus said: "Ye are my friends", He was going beyond 'Ye are My disciples' and 'Ye are My followers'. He could have called them by many other names, but when He said: "Ye are my friends" He went beyond anything else. And I think that the Lord Jesus found the most complete satisfaction of His heart in this word. To say "Ye are my friends" was as far as anybody could possibly go. Really, there is nothing beyond it. You reach the end of all relationships when you really come to friendship. How rich and how precious, then, is this title!

"Ye Are My Friends"

Ron Paul Supporters Confront Alec Baldwin

Supporters of Ron Paul challenged actor Alec Baldwin on several issues Paul believes in.

One of the questions was in connection to the Federal Reserve and whether it should be abolished as Paul has suggested.

Baldwin responded:

Capitalism is worthwhile. I don't want the capital markets to be dismantled. I think capitalism is worthwhile, and capitalism demands the flow of money.

When asked if he would commit to supporting Ron Paul, Baldwin refused to. With all of Baldwin's blather, you would think Paul would be someone he would be glad to support.

It appears limited government and getting rid of the banksters is too much for Baldwin to grasp or get behind.

Baldwin does call for major changes in the Securities and Exchange Commission, especially in relationship to conflicts of interests in regard to bankers and regulations.

Cancer and Peer Review Scandal

Science has for too long hidden behind the idea of "peer review," where it is supposed to be a check and balance to conclusions asserted from research.

The problem of course is research money, corporate profits, narcissism and private agendas, whereby results can be cooked by scientists, and in fact are much more frequently than the average person knows.

Take the case of the recent revelation by the Office of Research Integrity (ORI) at the U.S. Department of Health, whereby it was revealed he had "engaged in research misconduct by fabricating data that were included in two published papers" related to cancer research.

Fabrications include:

Oncogene February 2009, which found that HIC1, a protein thought to suppress tumor growth, is a 'central molecule in a novel mechanism controlling cell growth and that the disruption of this HIC1-mediated pathway may lead to abnormal cell proliferation and, ultimately, cancer.'

Molecular Endocrinology December 2009, which found 'reintroducing HIC1 into resistant breast cancer cells restored their sensitivity to the estrogen antagonists, indicating the existence of a novel regulatory mechanism for growth control of breast cancer cells.'

The Wall Street Journal reported on peer reviews:

"Just 22 retraction notices appeared in 2001, but 139 in 2006 and 339 last year. Through seven months of this year, there have been 210, according to Thomson Reuters Web of Science, an index of 11,600 peer-reviewed journals world-wide …

At the Mayo Clinic, a decade of cancer research, partly taxpayer-funded, went down the drain when the prestigious Minnesota institution concluded that intriguing data about harnessing the immune system to fight cancer had been fabricated. Seventeen scholarly papers published in nine research journals had to be retracted. A researcher, who protests his innocence, was fired. In another major flameout, 18 research journals have said they are planning to retract a total of 89 published studies by a German anesthesiologist …"

So-called peer reviewed scientific conclusions can no longer be considered legitimate, as the fraud and consequences inherent in the system, including the obvious conflict of interests, make it completely unreliable across about every "scientific" discipline their is out there.

For the falsified cancer results above it's particularly damning, as other publications have cited the material and doctors have made decisions for their patients based upon it.

This lying snake needs to be prosecute and sued into oblivion, as well as Boston University which allowed the fraud to go forward, suggesting incompetence or collusion.

The money involved in research is enormous, giving incentive for peer reviews to be based upon outright lies.

Another Scientist on Global Warming Hoax

Another of the thousands of scientists refuting the junk "science" behind climate change or global warming has added his contribution to the debate.

David Deming, who is a geophysicist, associate professor of arts and sciences at the University of Oklahoma, said "Anyone who is an honest and competent scientist must be a denier" of global warming.

I'm a denier for several reasons. There is no substantive evidence that the planet has warmed significantly or that any significant warming will occur in the future. If any warming does occur, it likely will be concentrated at higher latitudes and therefore be beneficial. Climate research has largely degenerated into pathological science, and the coverage of global warming in the media is tendentious to the point of being fraudulent. Anyone who is an honest and competent scientist must be a denier.

Reject any of the stream of lies associated with global warming from "court" scientists of the governments around the world.

There is absolutely no proof whatsoever that man has contributed to one iota of global warming, or that there is even such a thing as global warming. So you can sleep easy my friends while rejecting and opposing this lie.

President Ron Paul Would Cut $1 Trillion in Spending

If Ron Paul is elected President, a probability if he manages to win the Republican nomination, he has vowed to cut $1 trillion in Federal spending, as well as get rid of five governmental departments, according to The Brody File.

Among the departments Paul would cut are the Departments of Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, Commerce and Interior.

According to a senior official with Paul's campaign, some of the existing functions of these departments would be rolled over into other departments, for example, pell grant programs currently overseen by the Department of Education.

Ron Paul has been consistent with all of the values he represents throughout the years, and is currently reminding social conservatives of his pro-life position concerning abortion.

The positions of Ron Paul have been the main conversational driver of the Republican debates, even though mainstream media has feverishly attempted to pretend he doesn't exist.

Paul would demolish Obama in a direct confrontation.

Ron Paul on Pro-Life Stance

Presidential hopeful Ron Paul has released a commercial reminding conservative votes of his long-term stance as an opponent of abortion, and other life-related issues.

Paul again cites the fact that he has delivered over 4,000 babies, and continues to be "committed to protecting life."

The commercial started to air on October 14 in Iowa, and will continue on for weeks, according to the campaign, expanding to New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada, the other three states where primaries will initially be held.

Joni-Eareckson-Tada Ignorant on Economics and Medicare

It's unfortunate that Joni Eareckson-Tada decided to enter into the fray on the upcoming election as it relates to pro-life and government spending.

I say unfortunate because she needs to be exposed for her clueless ignorance on economics and how the United States is being impacted by unsustainable socialist programs, specifically Medicaid.

First of all, Tada says that abortion or embryonic stem cell research aren't what determines whether a person is pro-life or not.

She says this:

"Although these are important issues, I want to encourage voters to look at the bigger picture. If you truly believe in the value of life, you care about all of the weakest and most vulnerable members of society." You mean babies in the womb aren't the weakest and most vulnerable of society, Joni? Abortion has already proven they are. Period!

I don't want to rehash all that though. It's the assumptions and conclusions drawn from her assumptions I want to challenge.

Incredibly, Tada says, "Unless society holds accountable those who are defining 'waste-reduction measures,' the disabled and elderly will lose services and in-home support that are critical to their basic needs."

Who could disagree with Tada's statement? Not me. But that's not where she ends it, which is the huge problem. She defines society as not people, but the government. This is the horrendous and hideous error she makes.

In other words, if you're not a big-spending government politician, you have to be held accountable from Tada's point of view, as she's not able, or willing to distinguish between the two, as her writing explicitly says.

Tada gets close to being evil with her conclusions, calling out those who are pro-life as being tarnished if they don't agree with her assertions.

Like all good citizens, the elderly and people with disabilities want to eradicate waste and fraud from government, but helping people with special needs meet their basic needs doesn't fit this description. The hallmark of a healthy society has always been measured by how it cares for the disadvantaged.

As people investigate the candidates on all issues, they should remember that being pro-life also means protecting the elderly and medically fragile people - it's not a litmus test issue. If candidates believe that savings can be secured through undercutting basic services for the elderly and disabled, it can't help but tarnish their stand as pro-life candidates.

Don't get caught into Tada's tortured logic. She simply isn't able to think in terms of entities outside the government being those providing services for those with special needs or the elderly, even though millions in private funds are in fact doing that at this time.

Worse to me, is she's using her capacity as an alleged defender of the disabled and elderly to manipulate people into voting for her party and candidate, which is obvious. Hey, forget about those being aborted, as the progressives and Democrats have, it's more important that we continue to spend beyond our means as a government than to deal with the economic destruction coming. See how that helps the needy at that time.

Along with attempting to use the "guilt" card, Tada has shown herself to be absolutely clueless concerning economics. Secondly, her inability to separate providing for the needy and elderly outside of government channels shows she's part of the problem and not part of the solution.

It's an outrage that she asserts those who don't back up continual government spending for her special interest group means they're pro-life credentials are at risk.

In case you attempt to use the "guilt" card on me, don't bother. My son has been a special needs person since he was born about 34 years ago, and I know exactly what the issues are surrounding his care.

To imply this has anything to do with government promises it will never been able to keep over the long term prolongs the problem, and makes the landing even harder for those counting on it and socialized into depending upon it.

Joni would do much better to study up on economics of the Austrian kind, and to work more on raising private capital and awareness for those who will need it in the future.

The government spending programs, no matter how well intentioned, aren't sustainable. That's simply the fact, whether you like it or not. This reality will hit over the next decade as economic growth continues to be slow and cuts be forced to come in line with reality.

For Joni, she needs to publicly repent for her callous coloring of those who don't agree with her as being suspect as to their pro-life credentials. We await your response.

Christ in a Pre-Christian World

It appears the majority of believers have come to think in terms of Christianity as having entered into a post-Christian era in the world, including so-called Christianity itself, which has abandoned much of the tenets of the faith.

When I say abandoned the tenets of the faith, I'm mostly referring to mixture, where a lot of the world is added to a little bit of the Bible and Christ.

Even so, there are denominations which claim to be Christian which allow practicing homosexuals to lead the flock, even though the Lord Himself condemns this aberrant lifestyle, which is counter to Christ, and not something anyone has been born with. It's a choice. Period!

There are many more examples which could be cited, as you know, but I want to focus on the implications of that in this article, and not the numerous consequences resulting from it.

Specific implications refer to whether or not Christianity is in fact in a post-Christian era or not. My argument is that we aren't in a post-Christ era in any way, but are rather still reside in a pre-Christian era.

While we could make a case for a post-Christian era from the atrocities being accepted by what are labeled as Churches, but that misses the point.

The reason it misses the point is because of church history, which shows that there really hasn't been an overall embrace of Biblical Christianity since not too long after the period of the early Church, even though there have been periods of recovery which have affected relatively small segments of those professing Christ.

If you read the Bible and have Christ truly residing in you, there can be no doubt there has been little in the way of maturing into the image of Christ, which is part of His eternal purpose for us. There have been some solid individuals over time, but not much in the way of a corporate testimony of Christ.

My conclusion is that requires us to conclude that we are still largely in a pre-Christian era, and have yet to sustainably, and over time, mature in Christ to a state where we, as an entity, can say we represent Christ on the earth; in who He is and what He demands of us.

Once we do, from there we'll truly begin to see what it means to take dominion on this earth, another aspect of His eternal purpose concerning His people.

So don't be discouraged or lose hope, as what we're seeing is really just the beginning of a shaking out in those who name Christ, but in fact aren't really His.

There is much talk about there being many people repeating a sinners prayer, but without real conversions. I believe that is the case, but not just in our day, but throughout much of Church history.

We still await the day when the Church becomes a people reflecting Christ in the earth, and what that will mean for creation before the Lord returns for His people. We must reject that which is of this world and not allow it to infiltrate the Church.

We also must become a people of the Spirit, living from His life and showing forth who Christ is to a world that have yet to fully see Him in His people in an unmixed, pure manner.

Again, there have been times throughout history where there has been a glimpse of this, but overall, there has been a resistance to maturing in Christ because it entails the work of the cross in His people, as well as a separation from the world and its underlying premises.

Christians, or those who name Christ, are afraid to go all the way because they know deep within it will cost them everything. We need to be of those that are willing to take this journey, not counting anything of importance in this world, as we pray for the will and kingdom to come down from Heaven.

We aren't living in a post-Christian world, as that would imply some type of magnificent, truly spiritual period and people we can point to as a point of reference to back the assertion.

Again, there have been small pockets of people such as this throughout history, but not to the point where it has been embraced by Christendom as a whole.

Until those who are redeemed apply themselves and respond to the call of the Lamb, we will continue to dwell in a pre-Christian era on the earth.

Christ continues to woo those who will respond to His call. Let's cast off our baggage and run the race He has run and placed before us.

Spain Downgraded by S&P

The long-term debt rating of Spain was downgraded by Standard & Poor's, as the European Union flounders on the brink of extinction. And not too soon, I may add.

As for the banking system of Spain, Standard and Poor's said they see it continuing to weaken as the amount of troubled assets increase.

Standard & Poor's cut the long-term rating from "AA" to "AA-." They also have a "negative" outlook on the country, suggesting there could be even further rating cuts in the future. The short-term rating of "A-1+" was maintained for now.

Much of the rating downgrade was predicated on little or no growth prospects for the country, which continues to be weighed down by high unemployment, large private debt and tight credit.

Also of concern is the weakness of its immediate trading partners, which reinforces little or no growth going forward, and possibly contraction.

As with most of the countries in economic trouble, including the United States, the recession is being blamed for Spain's slow growth, while the socialist practices of entitlement and out of control spending weren't mentioned.

Until the size of government is limited, spending cut, and entitlement programs drastically reduced, nothing will change for these countries, as the spending is simply no longer sustainable.

In the case of the United States, they need to also cut back on military expansionism, along with entitlement and spending cuts.

Spain is now expected to grow at an anemic 0.8 percent in 2011, and possibly up to 1 percent in 2012. That's down from former projections of 1.5 percent.

Who knows what will happen once Greece defaults, which is a surety.

Obama and Fascist America

The roots of fascism have been mostly traced back to Mussolini, who once stated this: "Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state."

While it is true that Mussolini offered up the talk of fascism, in reality he was a Marxist, but his followers, according to Paul Johnson in Modern Times, wouldn't support his socialist leanings, and so instead he adopted fascism, at least in theory, as his preferred way of reaching his goals.

Mussolini also asserted, "We control the political forces, we control the moral forces, we control the economic forces. Thus we are in the midst of the corporative fascist state."

He concluded that fascism was "organized, concentrated, authoritarian democracy on a national basis."

The followers of Mussolini had no desire to see the nationalization of industry in the socialist sense, so he followed them into what was considered by socialists of that day as Marxist heresy.

Essentially what fascism in our day and age operates as is the government allowing corporate cartels to operate under its auspices, allowing them to use practices otherwise illegal.

Interestingly, private cartels aren't allowed to exist, meaning only government-sanctioned cartels are allowed, even it isn't exactly presented that way.

Cartels are basically created in order to hinder free market forces from being the deciding factor in business and other transactions. Cartels are a form of fascism, and the U.S. government and large corporations are up to their necks in this practice.

The largest and most notable cartel in the United States is the Federal Reserve and its relationship to the giant banks. Essentially it's a combination of a public institution embracing the private sector banks. Some could argue the Federal Reserve isn't a public entity, but a private one. While true, in practice it's as powerful as any government entity there is.

Cartels and/or fascism attempt to limit competition in order to shore up revenue, margins and profits. Another example is OPEC, which is a group of countries which primarily agree to quotas, although that doesn't usually work very well because of some of its members always breaking the agreement; a good thing for consumers.

The U.S. government has encouraged certain business leaders to work together for the betterment of the nation. This is fascism and cartelization of the market. The government has absolutely zero business telling business what to do or how. Even regulations can be a form of fascism, as evidenced by what direction the government wants the country to take. Energy is an obvious example here, among several.

Fascism can thrive when a popular demagogue like Obama enters the political arena. People get their eyes off of issues and focus on personality and charisma instead. That's what happened with Mussolini and Hitler, who were moving orators.

This is why the Tea Party has far more accuracy and potential than the clueless and purposeless protesters identifying themselves as "Occupy Wall Street."

When asked what they represent, they have no answer. A revolution without a purpose? Hardly. Many are even paid to attend, meaning they are a creation of unions and other socialist and fascist entities which live off of the money of the productive.

Tea Party people, which are a legitimate grass roots movement, at least understand the need to limit the size of government and the consequences if they don't. Those involved with the centrally planned "Occupy Wall Street" seem to be opposed to large bankers and corporations, but they're clueless as to why, other than the fact that they're big and businesses.

The intellectually challenged "Occupy Wall Street" people are so blinded to the role of government and its fascist practices, that they can't even connect the dots that are right in front of their faces. That's the danger of hero worship concerning politicians, in this case Obama, as he's as big a recipient and support of the fascist marriage of government and business as there ever has been, and knows he can get away with it because it's not as easy to discern as outright socialism.

An interesting insight from Paul Johnson concerning Mussolini was his obsession with national greatness and giant projects confirm that greatness. Fascism is largely a nation-state focus, and actions are taken in light of that. Germany of the early 20th century is another obvious example of this.

What the government is attempting to do through fascism is to become great in the eyes of the people via its actions. The problem is of course it must do this in "partnership" with businesses in order to pull it off. This is why socialism is such a failure in all ways, as it doesn't hide the fact it wants to directly control all aspects of the life of its people, especially business. This is much harder to measure, and operates under the radar of most people, who don't see the connection.

Business is the source of capital, and favoring and cartelizing them via government actions is the way fascism works.

This is why Marxists view fascists as heretics, they don't attempt to directly control business, rather they get into bed with chosen businesses in order to extract the favors they want in return.

Government is the pimp and businesses are the prostitutes, who are then allowed to work certain street corners offered by the government, which is now giving the orders behind the scenes, which in turns creates powerful banking and businesses which start to do the same in certain areas.

This is the great evil of fascism, as it gives the appearance of free markets, when in fact it's a large anti-trust scheme scamming the people of a nation, who aren't knowledgeable enough to know the difference.

Conservatives Applaud Ron Paul

Ron Paul has been somewhat of an enigma to conservatives over the years, who don't fully understand why Paul's message, at times, appears to contradict their values.

But with the out-of-control spending and expansion of the U.S. government, along with Paul's pro-life position, they are starting to take a strong second look at the candidacy of Paul as he once again runs for president.

Paul and conservatives, in general, have largely agreed on the need for limited government, although they differ on how that would play out. Conservatives still haven't been able to discern between having a strong military for domestic defense and the overreaching of the U.S. government as it continues to be the world's policeman.

Another difficult barrier between the two is Paul's stance on having the states do the majority of governing, while conservatives continue to embrace the federal government as the chief instrumentality in that regard.

If Paul and conservatives could come together on that, his candidacy has a very real chance of being a success. Paul has the majority of libertarians backing him, as well as a number of liberals, who back his opposition to the wars we continue to engage in. Paul could literally blow away all competitors if a coalition of these groups emerged.

At a recent rally at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, Paul mentioned the Biblical roots behind the principles which drive his message. The conservative crowd roared its approval; something that hasn't been part of Paul's past experience, which could be a good sign going forward in his campaign.

It would be amazing and strongly beneficial to America if Christians embraced Paul and voted him into the Presidency. What he represents, believes, and lives, is just what the nation needs at this hour.

Hopefully petty differences with ancillary issues don't result in conservatives turning away from Paul. He has a lot more in common with them than possibly they know, and he would make a great President.

Obama Using ‘Occupy Wall Street’ to Distract from Failures?

Obama has been ratcheting up the rhetoric in support of the so-called "Occupy Wall Street" crowd, which has Senator Rand Paul concerned could result in violence.

This is no doubt a move by Obama to distract many Americans away from the disaster and horrible President he is, as his leadership, or lack of it, has resulted in enormous, negative consequences for the country and most people living in it.

Bizarrely and dishonestly, Obama, whose campaign received large contributions and backing from Citigroup (NYSE:C), Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS), JP Morgan (NYSE:JPM) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), is now trying to position himself as the man to bring the bankers back in line. It's laughable at best.

Obama going to bed with Wall Street is a major part of the problems we now face.

Rand Paul said, “As far as this Occupy Wall Street movement goes, you know I see it sort of like a Paris mob. I see the president’s rhetoric of envy inflaming the public.”

“I see this enflaming this Paris mob that I hope ultimately doesn’t result in lawlessness where they say ‘gosh those nice iPads through the window should be mine and why don’t I throw a brick through the window to get them because rich people don’t deserve to have them when I can’t have one."

As to the people in these protests without a purpose, Paul said this in relationship to their hypocritical and alleged opposition to business:

“They’re on their iPhone made by Apple incorporated, they’re wearing designer jeans their parents bought for them, that’s the kind of stuff I’m annoyed with when they say corporations are evil – corporations are businesses.”

Paul adds that he does agree with the apparent only real grievance stated by the protesters, and that is that taxpayers shouldn't be made to pay for the bailout of the bankers, something the Tea Party has already addressed and opposed.

As for Obama, he sees these demonstrators as potential allies, and is now attempting to support them in what appears to be a strategy to keep himself out of the limelight as his unpopularity grows.

These protests aren't really coherent, and the call by the demonstrators to raise taxes is nothing more than a talking point of Obama and the Democrats.

What Obama and the rest of the politicians need to do is cut spending and begin to limit the size and promises of government, as it isn't sustainable, as we are finding out before the eyes of the American people.

Knowing Christ in an Over-Stimulated World

The world we live in today is one obviously not conducive to building a solid relationship with Jesus Christ. Not only because of sin and opposition, but possibly even more importantly, the speed of change and distractions now inherent to our generation.

While all of these have existed in the past, the impact I see on our generation as far as it relates to knowing Christ, is in being over-stimulated because of the sheer bombardment of our senses via the ubiquitous media outlets and screens we now have available to us.

In other words, we're always connected, and we don't want to, or believe we can't, disconnect for the type of interaction with Jesus Christ which has meaning and fulfilment to us and for Him.

As news and reporting tends to gravitate largely to the negative or spectacular, it elicits a emotional reaction in us on a consistent basis, which is the reason for identifying it as being over-stimulated.

It's like having children eat sugar all day long with them never coming down from the high as they bounce off the walls. We adults are experiencing that through the media sugar we consume every day, resulting in Christians largely neglecting their relationship with Christ, which must include literal quietness to cultivate and be impacted and changed by that fellowship with Him.

Forget about those people who try to tell you how to know Christ while maintaining a lifestyle which doesn't allow for it, not matter how it is spun.

You can't know or fellowship with your spouse, children, or other believers, unless you take the targeted time to do so, and it's the same with Christ, even more so, because of the need to absolutely be quiet before Him.

Time must be made and committed to on a consistent basis in order to enjoy the gift of Himself that Christ has given us. There are no short cuts to this, and there are no substitutes. We must change our behaviors and possibly, other areas of our lives if we want to participate in eternal life, which Jesus revealed was knowing Him and the Father.

To do that, we must give our time and attention to that. And as for how to do it, it must be done in circumstances where there are no outside or internal stimulants which will choke out the value of being restful and quiet before Him.

The purpose of this article isn't to get into the numerous ways that can be done, but to encourage and admonish you to remember this is the purpose of Jesus Christ in creating us, so that we could enjoy an eternity together in extraordinary fellowship. That's to begin happening while we live on this earth.

Again, work on being restful, peaceful and quiet before the Lord. It will take time, and it will be frustrating at the beginning, as you must learn and develop the discipline of living outside of the stimulation of this world in order to participate now in the eternals with Christ, who lives in heaven and within all true believers.
