God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ... And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jim Rogers on Civil Unrest in U.S.

In this video, Jim Rogers talks about the trouble the U.S. faces, and the resultant civil unrest that will ultimately come. He talked about this in the middle of March 2011, to show he saw this coming before it started to happen.

As always when listening to Rogers talk, keep in mind the principles behind his reasoning, as that is where the gold is. Understand those principles, and you'll understand a lot better the forces behind how this world is currently operating, and where they will bring us to.

Rogers says:

These are economic hard times. They need to understand what is happening. This is not a time to buy anything. The only sector where the fundamentals are improving is commodities. Oil reserves are declining. If you need to own something, you should learn about commodities and buy accordingly.

If we could time the markets, we would be very very rich. Otherwise look at the long term trends. Farming is going to be a very big business.

Agricultural commodities are going to do better than others. Most are still significantly below their all time highs. There will be civil unrest in the United States very soon. Cash is an alternative to purchasing commodities if you think that the situation is too perilous. People are covering their shorts and that is putting a lot of buying pressure on the dollar.

These are perilous time, and we should expect to see more civil unrest. Japan has huge reserves and they are the largest creditor nation. Asian is filled with creditor nations, and in the past the world center has always moved to where the money is.
